In Fedora 15, find i-scan under the Graphics sub-menu. This whole process installed iscan you will not be able to scan with Simple Scan. Log out, or restart the shell (ctrl+F2 -> r) and you'll be ready to scan! Once the downloads are complete, first install iscan-data (the first download mentioned), and then iscan (the second download mentioned). If you do not use 32-bit Fedora 11 or later (edits pending), please go through the site instead of the direct links. What is important though, that you choose the right distribution. Windows 8.x: Navigate to the Appsscreen and select Epson ScanSmart. Windows 10:Click > Epson Software> Epson ScanSmart. Windows 11:Click, then search for Epson ScanSmartand select it. After that, you can save, print, or share them. The default package is for ltdl3 - which I don't know to be in use in new Fedora distros any more. You can start the Epson ScanSmart program to scan originals and easily review and edit scanned images. Step 2a: Once you're past this "Form for Download", there are two packages you need to download:ΔΆ) iscan-2.28. (for those with ltdl7. However, it isn't necessary to provide the right model - it took me a while to figure this step out! Anyway, the filenames below are linked to (at the time of writing) the most recent version of iscan for a 32-bit installation of Fedora 15 (which I presume to work on Fedora 11 or later.
